Regardless of the challenge, the best solutions are always rooted in a deep understanding of the user: how they think, where they've been,  what they want. Making assumptions is a good first step, but validating those assumptions is essential.

Research leads to insights, which leads to more effective creative strategies. From there, the execution is about balancing the user's wants with the organization's.

Meeting all these needs is effectively overcoming a series of predictable hurdles: the conceptual, the logistical, the financial, and so on. But because the strategy is grounded in the user, the hurdles are easier to surmount.
